Gathering Our Voices 2017

This year our team hosted a workshop titled Indigenous New Media: Filmmaking Workshop! 

After a brief discussion on Indigenous peoples in Hollywood, Youth participants were introduced to the basics of camera handling, sound recording and set etiquette. We then embarked to shoot short films; I’m Not Your Mom and The Band Office. Alongside filmmaker Damien Eagle-Bear, Actress/Comedian Madeline Terbasket and our Youth Wellness Team, participants shot the skits in full, with complete control of the set and script.
